50. Veronika Varekova
Varekova has made eight appearances in SI’s swimsuit issue (you’ll find as we go on into this list that there’s a ton of overlap between the SI swimsuit issue and Victoria’s Secret models, which is the way it should be of course) including a cover in 2004.
49. Shiraz Tal
Tal has been retired for awhile, but was a huge model earlier this decade, including a stint as the face of Hanes. She also competed in an early season of Dancing With The Stars.
48. Chandra North
North was a model mostly in the early 90′s, so anyone who was coming of age at that time certainly will remember her from Victoria’s Secret catalogs and SI swimsuit issues.
47. Jessica White
Jessica White is a budding supermodel. She has been called “the model of her generation” by Tyra Banks, and became the first African-American model to appear in three consecutive SI swimsuit issues in 2005.
46. Nadine Strittmatter
Strittmatter is probably better known in Europe where she’s appeared on numerous magazine covers, including Maxim-Italy.
45. Nichole Robinson
Robinson is Panamanian-American, and dated South Park creator Trey Parker a few years back. Lucky guy.
44. Amanda Marcum
Marcum comes straight out of the heartland, born and bred in Oklahoma. She’s appeared on the cover of Stuff magazine and in advertising campaigns for many clothing lines including Tommy Hilfiger and Armani.
43. Angela Lindvall
Another Sooner (born in Midwest City, Oklahoma), Lindvall signed with the powerhouse modeling agency IMG when she was just 14 years old. She’s appeared in every Victoria’s Secret fashion show since 2001.
42. Jessica Van Der Steen
Van Der Steen is a Belgian fashion model, and is actually currently working with Victoria’s Secret. She’s also an SI swimsuit alum.
41. Anne Vyalitsyna
Vyalitsyna is Russian, and started modeling at the age of 15 after being discovered by IMG scouts.
40. Eugenia Silva
Silva is a Spanish model that has appeared on countless magazine covers. She currently works with Victoria’s Secret and she’s also the face of the Oscar de la Renta perfume So.
39. Andi Muise
Muise was discovered in a shopping mall at the age of 14 in Canada. Muise recently appeared in a season finale of Project Runway.
38. Candice Swanepoel
Swanepoel is a South African model who was discovered in a flea market of all places. She’s appeared in advertisements for Nike as well as working for Victoria’s Secret.
37. Miranda Kerr
Kerr is a huge part of Victoria’s Secret advertising, as she’s one of the Victoria’s Secret angels. Kerr is Australian and entered the fashion world after winning a modeling contest sponsored by Dolly magazine.
36. Josie Maran
Maran is a model, but she’s also just as known for acting having appeared in movies such as Van Helsing and The Aviator. She also appeared on Dancing with the Stars, but only made it through one episode before being voted off.
35. Karolina Kurkova
Another Victoria’s Secret Angel, Kurkova hails from the Czech Republic. She’ll be appearing as Cover Girl in the live action GI Joe movie coming out next year.
34. Brooklyn Decker
Decker is a nice midwestern girl, coming from Kettering, Ohio. Which is interesting, because I grew up in Ohio and don’t remember meeting any girls like Brooklyn Decker. She was discovered in a shopping mall in North Carolina (which is apparently how 95% of all fashion models get started), and began her career as the face of a prom dress company.
33. Izabel Goulart
Goulart is Brazilian, and another Victoria’s Secret Angel. She’s also well known for her work with Armani. Goulart has done a little acting in her time, having made a cameo appearance on the show Entourage.
32. Jarah Mariano
Mariano is Hawaiian, but grew up in California. She’s modeled for Abercrombie and appeared in SI’s swimsuit edition in addition to her work with Victoria’s Secret.
31. Selita Ebanks
Another Victoria’s Secret Angel, Ebanks grew up relative poverty in the Cayman Islands. She was discovered at the age of 17 at a Six Flags amusement park. Ebanks was engaged to rapper Nick Cannon before he moved on to marry Mariah Carey.
30: Karen Mulder
Karen Mulder was a famous fashion model in the early 90′s, before kind of going into a downward spiral that eventually bottomed out with a suicide attempt in 2002. In her brighter days Mulder worked with many famous designers and appeared on the covers of many famous magazines such as Vogue.
29: Ujjwala Raut
Raut is an Indian model who’s appeared in campaigns for virtually every clothing line out there, including H&M and Gap. She has a young daughter named Ksha.
28. Rachel Roberts
Roberts was the title character in the little seen Al Pacino movie S1m0ne. She hooked up with the director of that movie (shrude move on his part) and they now have two children.
27: Natasha Poly
A Russian model who’s full name is actually Natalia Polevshchikova, which makes you understand why she’s shortened it to Natasha Poly. Poly makes $70k a day when shooting advertisements, which isn’t too bad since the requirements are mostly standing around looking hot.
